We hope this invitation finds you healthy and training well in this beautiful art and sport of Wado-Kai Karate Do. We of the Arakawa Dojo USA Headquarters, Japan Karate-Do Federation Wado-Kai and The Wado Kai Federation of Utah are pleased to be hosting an Official International JKF Wado Kai Seminar and Dan Grading Test here in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 2, 2025 through May 4, 2025.
In light of hosting this event, we are inviting CZWKA students to participate in both the seminar and the testing of Dan grades 1 – 5 here in Salt Lake City Utah.
The International Instructors of the seminar and examination will be by Sensei Koichi Shimura, Sensei Koji Okumachi, Sensei Toshio Takahashi, and Sensei Rick Hobusch.
The Seminar will be two days, starting at 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday May 2nd, and Saturday May 3, 2025 from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
The Examination will be Sunday May 4th, starting at 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM and test results and review will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
The Farewell Party will be will be Sunday night of May 4th, with the time to be
determined
After the event we have many beautiful areas to visit like Arches National Park, The city of Moab for outdoor recreation, Canyonlands National Park, Capital Reef National Park, Bryce National Park, and Zion National Park, Monument Valley and of course Las Vegas is within driving distance.
It is our hope that that many members of Wado-Kai here in the United States and abroad will visit Salt Lake City, Utah for this event and take advantage of this opportunity to advance their knowledge and skill.
