SUMMARY:2024 Eastern Technical Seminar
DESCRIPTION:CANADIAN WADO KAI TECHNICAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS NEILL HUDSON AND SIMON RAYBOULD\n\n\n\nNeill and Simon are looking forward to delivering the 2024 Eastern Technical Seminar on November 23rd. The seminar will be at the Jean-de-Brébeuf school where we were 3 years ago\, 360 Bd de Lucerne\,  Gatineau QC.\n\n\n\nThe seminar will providing an interesting agenda for all levels and ages\, focusing on moving from the core\, improving kata\, and tips and techniques for free-fighting. The final session of the day will be a focus on instructors and those vying for their dan test next May\, and competing in Japan in August. The afternoon portion will be for intermediate and up students\, red belt and higher.\n\n\n\nIt is recommended that participants bring their personal lunch as one will not be provided. Water bottles will be provided\, but folks are welcome to bring their own (especially if they like sports drinks).\n\n\n\nStudents should bring their fighting gear\, and their CZ passports.\n\nFees: $15 for the morning; $30 all-day; $20 afternoon only. Fees should be paid by eTransfer\, to this email: karateduplateau@outlook.com. Please use the security code: karate (no accents). The payment will be used as registration\, so include the full name of the student\, age and rank.  Registration by November 20\, 2024!\n\nLooking to make this a regular biannual event\, so please start thinking about spring training too – sometime in March.
