SUMMARY:CZWKA Annual General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Annual General Meeting \nThe CZWKA Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Friday\, December 13\, 2024\, at 4 pm PST/ 5pm MST/ 7pm EST. Participation for club directors is mandatory and members at large are welcome too. Please confirm your participation by December 5 and save the date. \nThe AGM is an essential event for the sound operations of CZWKA\, and your active participation ensures our seamless continuation of business. Participants will learn of the financial state of the association\, the key activities of the board for 2024\, and high-level expectations for 2025. \nPlease forward this invitation to all interested members. Agenda to follow. \nThe meeting can be accessed by contacting you respective Club Director for the zoom link. \nThe terms for the following Board of Director are ending\, and we are soliciting interest for anyone who would be interested in promoting Wado karate in Canada. Position descriptions are: \n· President\n· Membership Director\n· Secretary \nAnyone interested should put their names forward for election to Cathy Ritchie: cathy.ritchie00@gmail.com \nYour message of interest should include a short proposal for your candidacy (Maximum 500 words): \n· How you intend to improve the CZWKA through your role on the board. \n· Key skills and experience that you bring to the role. \nPlease note that board members are not required to hold any karate rank. Therefore\, any member or closely associated person to your dojos (e.g. a parent of a student) are welcome to submit their candidacy. \nThe term is for 3 years (renewable).
